Dealon Privacy Policy

The following Privacy Policy describes how we, DEALON (“DO,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) collect, store, use, process, retain, transfer, disclose and protect your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our applications, websites (www.dealon.live ), services, or products (“Applications”), unless covered by separate privacy policy. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of DEALON is also subject to our Terms of Service ( https://www.dealon.live/terms.php).

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH WE COLLECT:

Registration Information: When you sign up for a Dealon account, you give us your name, Address, email address, and phone number. If you decide to sign up for Facebook using your Facebook account, we will also get basic information from your Facebook profile like your name, gender, profile photo, and Facebook friends.

Payment Method: When you add a credit card or payment method to your Dealon account, a third party that handles payments for us will receive your card information. To keep your financial data secure, we do not store full credit card information on our servers.

Communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact our Customer Support Team, we will receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide.

Driver Application Information: If you decide to join our Dealon driver community, in addition to the basic registration information we ask you for your date of birth, physical address, NID, driver’s license information, vehicle information, car insurance information, and in some jurisdictions we may collect additional business license or permitting information. We share this information with our partners who help us by running background checks on Drivers to help protect the Dealon community.

Payment Information: To make sure Drivers get paid, we keep information about Drivers’ bank routing numbers, tax information, and any other payment information provided by Drivers.

Service Provider Application Information: If you are using the Application as a service provider, in order for the Application to work, you will need to provide us with the information on the services you are able to accept orders for at the time, and details as to your current, and after an order for a service placed by a user is accepted by you as the service provider, you may need to provide us with other data that we need to manage the Application and ecosystem, and to monitor overall usage of the Application. Payment Information: To make sure Service Provider get paid, we keep information about Service Provider’s’ bank routing numbers, tax information, and any other payment information provided by Service Provider.

2. Information We Collect When You Use the Dealon Platform:

Location Information: Dealon is all about connecting App Users, Drivers & Service Providers To do this, we need to know where you are. When you open Dealon on your mobile device, we receive your location. We may also collect the precise location of your device when the app is running in the foreground or background. If you label certain locations, such as “home” and “work,” we receive that information, too. Your location information is necessary for things like matching App Users with nearby Drivers & Service Providers ,determining drop off and pick up locations, Service Locations. Also, if the need ever arises, our Trust & Safety team may use and share location information to help protect the safety of Dealon Users or a member of the public. In addition to the reasons described above, Drivers’ location information and distance travelled is necessary for calculating charges If you give us permission through your device settings or Dealon app, we may collect your location while the app is off to identify promotions or service updates in your area. Device Information: Dealon receives information from Users’ devices, including IP address, web browser type, mobile operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, push notification tokens, and, if you register with your Facebook account, your Facebook identifier. We collect mobile sensor data from Drivers’ devices (such as speed, direction, height, acceleration or deceleration) to improve location accuracy and analyze usage patterns. Usage Information: To help us understand how you use theDealon Platform and to help us improve it, we automatically receive information about your interactions with the Dealon Platform, like the pages or other content you view, your actions within the Dealon app, and the dates and times of your visits.

Call and Text Information: We work with a third party partner to facilitate phone calls and text messages between App Users, Drivers and Service Providers who have been connected for a ride/Service. We receive information about these communications including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of any SMS messages. For security purposes, we may also monitor and/or record the contents of phone calls made on the Dealon Platform, such as those between App Users, Drivers and Service Providers. You will be given notice that your call may be recorded, and by proceeding you agree to allow Dealon to monitor and/or record your call.

User Feedback: At Dealon, we want to make sure Users are always enjoying great rides and get a Service , App Users, Drivers and Service Providers may rate and review each other at the end of every ride. We receive information about ratings and reviews.

Address Book Contacts: If you permit Dealon to access the address book on your device through the permission system used by your mobile platform, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate invitations and social interactions that you initiate through our Platform and for other purposes described in this privacy policy or at the time of consent or collection.

Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies: We collect information through the use of “cookies”, tracking pixels, and similar technologies to understand how you navigate through the Dealon Platform and interact with Dealon advertisements, to learn what content is popular, and to save your preferences. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and apps recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be accessed every time you use the Dealon Platform. You should consult your web browser(s) to modify your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, you may be missing out on certain features of the Dealon Platform.

3. Information collected from third parties :

We may also collect your Personal Information from third parties (including our agents, vendors, suppliers, Drivers, partners and any others who provide services to us, perform functions on our behalf, or whom we collaborate with). In such cases, we will only collect your Personal Information for or in connection with the purposes for which such third parties are engaged or the purposes of our collaboration with such third parties (as the case may be).

4. SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH WE COLLECT

A. We may disclose to or share with affiliates and other parties your Personal Information for any of the following purposes as well as for such other purposes as are permitted by applicable law:

  • Where you are a user, for the purpose of enabling a service provider, to perform or deliver a service;
  • Where you are a service provider, for the purpose of enabling a user to request or receive a service from you;
  • Where required or authorised by applicable law (including but not limited to responding to regulatory enquiries, investigations or directives, or complying with statutory or regulatory filing and reporting requirements), for the purpose so specified in that Applicable Law;
  • Where there is any form of legal proceeding between you and us, or between you and another party, in connection with, or relating to the services, for the purposes of that legal proceeding;
  • In relation to any verification as we or a service provider may in our discretion consider necessary before we register you as a user, including Know Your Customer (KYC) process;
  • In an emergency concerning your health and/or safety (whether you are a user or a service provider) for the purposes of dealing with that emergency;
  • In connection with, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company, for the purposes of such a transaction (even if the transaction is eventually not proceeded with);
  • To third parties (including our agents, vendors, suppliers, Drivers, partners and any others who provide services to us or you, perform functions on our behalf, or whom we enter into commercial collaboration with) for or in connection with the purposes for which such third parties are engaged or the purposes of our collaboration with such third parties (as the case may be), which may include allowing such third parties to introduce or offer products or services to you, or other conducting activities including marketing, research, analysis and product development; and
  • Where we share Personal Information with affiliates, we will do so for the purpose of them helping us to provide the Application, to operate our business (including, where you have subscribed to our mailing list, for direct marketing purposes), or for the purpose of them conducting data processing on our behalf with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

B. Where it is not necessary for the Personal Information to be associated with you, we will use reasonable endeavours to remove the means by which the Personal Information can be associated with you as an individual before disclosing or sharing such information.

C. We will not sell or lease your Personal Information.

D. Other than as provided for in this Privacy Policy, we may disclose or share your Personal Information if we notify you and we have obtained your consent for the disclosure or sharing

5. MARKETING AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL:

We and our partners may send you direct marketing, advertisement, and promotional communications via push-notification app, message in Application, post, telephone call, short message service (SMS), and e-mail (“Marketing Materials).

6. Data Security:

We are committed to protecting the data of the Dealon community. Even though we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no security measures can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data.

7. Children’s Privacy:

Dealon is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 12. If we find out that a child under 12 has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe that a child under the age of 12 has given us personal information, please contact us at our Support Center.

8. Changes to Our Privacy Policy:

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will let you know through the Dealon Platform, by email, or other communication. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy periodically to stay up-to-date about our privacy practices. As long as you use the Dealon Platform, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy and any updates we make to it.
